Jennifer Montague Joins the Humanizers Advisory Board

Fostering Empathy and Connection:

Jennifer Montague, a seasoned marketing leader with a distinguished career working for some of the most influential Nordic technology brands, joins the Humanizers Advisory Board with enthusiasm.

Recognized as Nordic Women in Tech's Digital Leader of 2023, Jennifer brings not only her expertise in driving market success but also a commitment to put people first in organisational leadership. “Leaders should be creating the perfect conditions for people to grow,” she explains.

Jennifer is excited to work alongside Humani CEO Anders again. His approach as always wanting to do things the right way, prioritising people at every level has always resonated with her, and helped shape the leader she has become. We are just as excited to work together with Jennifer to shape a more compassionate and forward-thinking future for leadership. She believes that organisations like Humani play a vital role in fostering stronger team connections, allowing people to recognise and address emotions in the workplace are an integral part of building a supportive environment.

For Jennifer, the biggest challenge facing leaders today is the lack of time to truly understand their team members’ needs and work styles. She recalls being told she was “too nice to be a leader,” a notion she confidently rejects, emphasising that balancing productivity with empathy is not only possible but essential. Humani’s technology, she notes, offers leaders real-time insights that can bridge gaps in understanding, tailoring support to each team member and moving beyond a “one-size-fits-all” approach to leadership. “Not everyone has the same work style,” she says, “and Humani offers a pathway to recognise and embrace these differences”.

Balancing technology with human connection is critical, Jennifer asserts. Recognising and adapting to diverse work styles as she calls it - leads to stronger team dynamics and increased engagement. For Jennifer, the right use of technology supports leaders in understanding these differences and enabling them to prioritise people, enhancing workplace culture, and nurturing a truly people-first organisation.

We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Montague to the Humanizers Advisory Board. Her deep commitment to empathetic leadership and her dedication to creating people-centered workplaces align perfectly with our mission. We are confident that her experience and passion for fostering growth, empathy, and resilience will be instrumental in guiding Humanizers forward. Welcome, Jennifer—we’re excited to work together to shape a more compassionate future for leadership.
